Release Boatworks Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

This year, Release Boatworks celebrates our 10th anniversary! In February of 2012, founder of Release Boatworks, Jim Turner, splashed hull #1, 46′ Walkaround “Goldfish” (now known as “Charlie”).

Since then, Release Boatworks has grown to a 50,000 square feet building facility in Egg Harbor City, NJ with 40+ employees, and builds walkarounds, dayboats, expresses, and walkaround flybridges, both inboard and outboard, ranging from 36 to 55 feet.

To this day, our most popular model is the 46′ Walkaround with its classic lines, immense fishability, clean wake, high maneuverability, comfortable accommodations, and quality finish.

Hull #1 “Charlie” is located at a private residence on Singer Island, Florida, and can still be seen fishing sailfish tournaments out of Palm Beach. Check her out at The Silver Sailfish Derby and Buccaneer Cup this month!
