WALKAROUND FREEDOM.
FULL-THROTTLE VERSATILITY.

The Release 55 Flybridge Walkaround is a weapon for the serious angler and adventurer alike. With 360 degrees of unfettered access, you’re always in the fight—whether you’re casting baits offshore or deep in the blue chasing your next grander.

The first 55 Flybridge Walkaround is being used as a mothership chase boat, dialed in for big-game fishing, diving, and off-grid adventure. It’s a testament to Release Boatworks’ semi-custom ethos: we build boats for how you run, fish, and live on the water—not for how someone else says you should.

01. The Concept

RANGE, REDUNDANCY, RELENTLESS POWER.

When your playground is hundreds of miles offshore, you need confidence built into every system. That’s why the 55 Flybridge Walkaround packs twin 10V2000 MTUs with 3,244 total horsepower, pushing cruise into the mid-30s and topping out around 40 knots. Two Seakeeper 6s keep the ride flat and comfortable no matter the sea state. Expanded fuel capacity, a quick-connect manifold for auxiliary bladders, and redundant pumps and systems mean she’s built for self-reliance in the most remote waters. Every piece of equipment is chosen with one goal: bulletproof capability.

02. Driven

BELOW DECK, BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

Step below and you’ll find a fully customized interior that balances hard-core functionality with refined livability. Hull No. 1 features three staterooms, a dedicated tackle room, and a purpose-built dive locker. The layout is flexible, with options including a lower helm station for protected running. Just like her topsides, the interior of the 55 Flybridge Walkaround is designed to meet the demands of extended adventure, long stays aboard, and serious sportfishing.
