460 Walkaround

The 460 Walkaround is the middle weight in our outboard range—right between the 390 and 490—but there’s nothing middle-of-the-road about her. Based on the proven 43 inboard walkaround, she brings that same Release DNA to an aggressive, quad-powered platform with more speed, more fishability, and the kind of lines that stop dock walkers in their tracks.

She’s lean, lethal, and ridiculously well-balanced. Big enough for long runs and serious crew. Small enough to run solo, clean fast, and squeeze into tight slips. For the owner-operator who wants max range, max control, and minimal BS, this
is the boat.

Built to Be the One You Run Every Weekend.
The 460 Walkaround hits the sweet spot between capability and convenience. She has full walkaround access, a massive cockpit, and a true below-decks layout— but she runs like a much smaller boat.

Born from the 43 inboard walkaround, she now rides on a lengthened, integrally bracketed hull dialed in for quad outboards. That means more storage, more stateroom space, and even better access to systems. She’s for the ones who don’t want to choose between hardcore fishability and freedom at the helm.

The Sweet Spot. Sharpened.

With quad Mercury V-10 400 or 450 Verados standard, the 460 Walkaround cruises in the low 30s and tops out over 48 knots. She jumps on plane, runs flat, and stays dry when the weather turns.

The Release running surface—borrowed from her 43-foot inboard predecessor—was sharpened for outboard balance. The result? Total control in tight turns, neutral tracking at troll, and predictable handling when backing down.

Cockpit space is clean and clear. The helm is pure Release: clean lines, full
sightlines, and no distractions when it’s game time. And every square inch is built
for anglers who don’t hesitate when the spread gets lit.

Handles Like a 40. Fights Like a 50.

Below Decks

The 460 features a forward V-berth, enclosed wet-head, galley, and plenty of storage. Keep it charter-tough or finish it yacht-clean. Either way, she’s all business under the skin.

Everything down below is built to stand up to actual fishing use: satin finishes, smart lighting, and nothing that rattles in a head sea. Sleep four. Fish six. Rinse & Repeat.

Like every Release, the 460 is vacuum-infused using modified epoxy and engineered laminates. Her bracket is molded in. Her fit and finish is Release level. And she’s built start-to-finish in New Jersey by hands that know offshore.

Outboards give her interior layout more flexibility, and serviceability is unmatched. Wiring runs are clean. Systems are labeled. And the access? It’s what you wish every boat had.
