Release Boatworks is a truly custom boatbuilder, so we have a wide range of power options available to suit any customer’s situation and needs. We prefer the Cummins QSB 480hp. common rail engines for their hard-to-beat combination of power, performance, fuel efficiency and reliability, season after season.
PERFORMANCE
How are these for numbers: with a pair of Cummins QSB 480hp. common rail engines, the Release 34 tops out at over 40 knots while comfortably cruising in the mid-30 knot range. That gives her a 300-plus mile range while getting you out in front for the Bimini start–a true tournament machine!
Perhaps the ultimate set-up for the Release 34 is the standard QSB 480. With this package she has a top speed of 32.5 knots but even more impressively, a cruise of 28 knots at 16 gallons per hour, giving her a 500-plus mile range. Our larger vessels, the 43- and 46-footers, will offer similar performance numbers—high top speeds but also very good cruising speeds with equally impressive fuel economy and efficiency.
